League Volunteers - Assist the General Managers The Great South League operates 12 teams in a three-state area (Alabama, Georgia, and Florida).
Each team is managed by a General Manager (Owner) and his support staff. For 2009, each team will appoint an Assistant General Manager who will work closely with the GM in all areas of Baseball Sport Management. The support staff will include: team coaches, ticket sales manager, press liason, public relations, advertising sales, promotions, host family coordinator, jobs coordinator, field maintenance, concessions, volunteers, etc.
The League has an internship program through the University of Georgia and Georgia State University. The League welcomes other Colleges/Universities to be part of our internship program.
